Kenny Chesney concert at Blossom Music Center: Fans urged to prepare for heavy traffic

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Concert season is in full swing -- and country singer Kenny Chesney is set to make a stop in Northeast Ohio. 

Chesney, alongside Megan Moroney, is bringing his Sun Goes Down Tour to Blossom Music Center on Thursday.

Officials expect the concert to be sold out, so Blossom Music Center took to Facebook to advise fans to arrive early. 

"We are expecting a sold-out crowd and high traffic - give yourself time to ensure you don't miss any of the show!"

In order to receive show updates via text, Blossom is asking fans to text KENNY24 to 330-583-4508. 

Blossom also posted the following schedule ahead of Chesney's performance: 

• 2 p.m. Early general admission parking opens
• 4 p.m. All parking opens
• 5:30 p.m. Gates/Plaza opens
• 6:30 p.m. Lawn and pavilion opens
• 7:30  p.m. Show begins

“To make entry as quick as possible, we only allow CLEAR plastic/vinyl tote bags (no bigger than 12” x 6” x 12”), and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”). The small clutch bags don’t need to be clear. We don’t allow any other type of bag."

"No, outside lawn chairs of any kind are not allowed, but they can be rented in advance! Lawn chair rentals are also available on-site, but please be aware that they’re subject to availability."

What items are allowed inside Blossom 

• 20 ounce bottled water unfrozen and nonflavored
• Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”)
• Blanket
• Food in a clear, 1-gallon Ziploc bag. One bag per person
• Standard size 3' diameter umbrella
• Golf umbrellas and/or umbrellas with metal/plastic tips are not permitted
• Ponchos/raincoats
• Pocket-size digital/disposable camera – non-professional only, no detachable lenses
• Small binoculars
• Non-aerosol sun tan lotion and bug-repellent
