It's been a busy year for Chance the Rapper.

The Chicago native dropped his first studio album, "The Big Day," back in July. The corresponding tour was scheduled to begin this Saturday in San Francisco, but the 26-year-old made a surprise announcement on Instagram on Monday.

"I thought it over for the past week and I’ve decided to push back my tour," he wrote in a caption accompanying a photo of him with his two daughters. "This year has been one of the greatest of my life; Marriage, new baby, first album etc. But with it being so eventful it has also been very strenuous having to divide my time and energy between family and work."

The tour was scheduled to stop at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on Nov. 2.

Fans who purchased tickets for any of the shows can receive a refund via Chance the Rapper's website. Clevelanders still hoping to see him perform should mark their calendars for the postponed show date on Feb. 4.

The full tour is now scheduled to kick off Jan. 15 in San Diego.

Chance the Rapper's second child, Marli, was born last week. His wife, Kirsten Corley, posted a sweet photo of baby Marli to Instagram three days ago.

"When Kensli was born, I went on tour 2 weeks later and missed some of the most important milestones in her life, but more importantly I was absent when her mother needed me the most. At this point as a husband and father of two I realize that I can’t make that mistake again," Chance the Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, wrote.

Chance the Rapper's "No Problem" single featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 2017. The song peaked at No. 43 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
