CHICAGO — Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly found himself apologizing over the weekend after a mid-show confrontation with a stagehand during a Chicago show last weekend.

TMZ reports the incident happened Friday as MGK performed at Chicago's Credit Union 1 Pavilion. The show reached a point where MGK apparently realized his guitar wasn't working, which led to a meltdown caught by TMZ cameras.

MGK angrily confronted a stagehand, who frantically appeared to attempt to fix the issue. MGK could be seen shoving the guitar at the stagehand before wandering around the stage.

MGK turned to Twitter after the show to apologize, adding that he plans to "get help" following the conclusion of his tour.

The rapper is scheduled to perform his annual hometown Christmas show at Cleveland's Wolstein Center Dec. 21. Tickets go on sale Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.
