Blossom Music Center warns fans of heavy traffic for Red Hot Chili Peppers' concert: Detour for Steels Corners Bridge closure

Blossom Music Center is urging fans to arrive early as they are expecting heavy concert traffic.

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — On Monday night, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will take the stage for a concert in Northeast Ohio

With the concert being sold out, Blossom Music Center is advising fans to arrive early and also warning of the new Steels Corners Bridge closure.

"We are expecting a large crowd for Red Hot Chili Peppers tonight with heavy concert traffic... To ensure that you see the entire show, please arrive early. Please do not wait until show time as you will risk missing part of the concert," said Blossom Music Center in a Facebook post.

In addition, fans are being warned that starting on Monday, July 22, the Steels Corners Bridge in Cuyahoga Falls will be closed to eastbound traffic for 90 days. Blossom Music Center says that fans will be affected when leaving concerts and will be detoured to Wyoga Lake Road onto Seasons Road. 

In order to receive show updates via text, Blossom is asking fans to text RCHP2024 to 330-583-4508. 

Blossom also posted the following schedule: 

  • 2 p.m. Early general admission parking opens
    • Early GA Parking is $20 for both fans coming into GA lots and those queueing for 4 p.m. 
  • 4 p.m. All parking opens
  • 5 p.m. Gates/Plaza opens
  • 5:30 p.m. Lawn and pavilion opens
  • 7 p.m. Show begins

"We’re a cash-free venue. If you arrive without a debit or credit card, head to an information booth and they’ll exchange cash for card (for free)."

What items are allowed inside Blossom 

  • 20 ounce bottled water unfrozen and nonflavored
  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”)
  • Blanket
  • Food in a clear, 1-gallon Ziploc bag. One bag per person
  • Standard size 3' diameter umbrella
  • Golf umbrellas and/or umbrellas with metal/plastic tips are not permitted
  • Ponchos/raincoats
  • Pocket-size digital/disposable camera – non-professional only, no detachable lenses
  • Small binoculars
  • Non-aerosol sun tan lotion and bug-repellent
