But that’s not all…
Thursdays also feature “happy hour” from 5-7 p.m. in June, July and August, which is free at the Union Home Mortgage Plaza Beer Garden. Here’s what you can expect: “Enjoy food and beer truck specials and entertainment. Throughout June, catch an incredibly talented lineup of local Africian American artists including multi-instrumentalist, singer, and rapper Marcus Smith (June 2nd), rapper Jinari Kemet (June 9th), Rising Star contestant Gabrielle Nicole (June 23), and singer-songwriter Liz Bullock (June 30). The June lineup is amplified by a Juneteenth celebration June 18-19th. The festival includes powerful and inspiring performers, including Djapo Cultural Arts Institute leading a dance and drum circle on the plaza. In July and August Thursdays are DJ sets and Fridays feature Resident Rocker performances.”
