CLEVELAND — Machine Gun Kelly is set for a homecoming concert this Saturday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. However, you'll have to wait a bit longer than planned for the show to start.
Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse has announced that the concert on December 18 will begin at 8:30 p.m., one hour later than originally scheduled. No official reason was given for the change in show time. The move is likely to accommodate traffic in and out of downtown with the Cleveland Browns playing at 4:30 p.m. game at FirstEnergy Stadium that same day.
Doors for the concert will open at 7 p.m. and fans with general admission (GA) floor tickets can begin lining up for the show at the Cleveland-Cliffs entrance on Huron Road at 3 p.m.
Saturday's concert will cap off a big year for the Cleveland native. MGK kicked off 2021 with a performance from Times Square on "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years' Eve" and immediately followed that up with his debut appearance of "Saturday Night Live." Kelly also performed in Cleveland on the final night of the NFL Draft.
In May, the singer and rapper took home the award for Top Rock Artist at the Billboard Music Awards, beating out iconic artists such as AC/DC, AJR, Twenty-One Pilots, and Five Finger Death Punch. MGK also took home the award for Top Rock Album.
