CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — For the first time in 17 years, the band Tears For Fears is putting out a new album, The Tipping Point -- but that's not all. For the first time since 2017, they’re going on tour to celebrate as well.
Tears For Fears will be visiting the Northeast Ohio area, performing at Blossom Music Center on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Tickets for the concert are set to go on sale next Friday, Nov. 19.
The concert set for Blossom is the second date on the tour as the band opens the night before in Cincinnati. The first leg of the tour includes 20 dates, with five shows taking place in the Midwest.
“We couldn’t be more excited to start playing concerts again. We’ve missed seeing our friends on the road around the world and the energy of performing live,” said Curt Smith.
Those who purchase concert tickets will also receive a digital download of the band’s new album when it releases, set for Feb. 25, 2022. The band has already released the lead single and the album is currently available for preorder digitally.
“The Tipping Point has been a long time in the making and we are looking forward to playing our favorites from the new album as well as our classics from throughout the years,” shared Roland Orzabal.
