NORTHFIELD, Ohio — The Cult is getting set to tour the United States.
And the English rock band is starting in Northeast Ohio.
On Tuesday, The Cult announced its upcoming Western U.S. tour, which will begin following a performance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on Oct. 5. Prior to this fall's tour, however, the band best known for its 1985 hit "She Sells Sanctuary" will play three dates in the United States, beginning with a show at Center Stage at MGM Northfield on July 12.
“We are thrilled to announce these shows,” The Cult's founding member and frontman, Ian Astbury, said in a statement. “As we close the circle from ’83 to ’23, we are entering into this moment to celebrate with you all, what has been, and shall continue to be, The Cult’s continuing legacy.”
