CLEVELAND — Country music fans in Northeast Ohio have been elated since the news that Garth Brooks will be bringing his 'Dive Bar Tour' to the Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown on Monday, October 28.
However, the question that was left unanswered when the announcement came on Tuesday was, how will fans be able to get tickets?
Northeast Ohio's two country music radio stations, 99.5 WGAR and 94.9 WQMX are your only sources for tickets.
On WGAR's website, you can register to win by filling out an online form. Also, this Friday, you can also win tickets by listening at 8:10 A.M.
Meanwhile, WQMX also is giving away tickets via online entry.
On their Facebook page, you can also win in their unique sign contest. Make sure you follow the directions!
WQMX personality Ken Steel will be at the Dusty Armadillo this Friday night and will apparently have a few pairs of tickets to give away as well.
The "Dusty A" is a classic country bar and dance hall. General Manager Colleen Zito says the building's official occupancy is 750, but promoters have promised to keep ticket numbers well below that threshold.
Brooks' trip through Northeast Ohio will be the fifth stop on his planned seven-date Dive Bar Tour. He has visited Chicago, Bakersfield, New Braunfels, Texas, and will perform in Sanford, Florida on Wednesday.
The tour takes its name from Brooks' current single, “Dive Bar,” which features Blake Shelton.
