SANDUSKY, Ohio — With Sandusky in the path of totality for the April 8 solar eclipse in Northeast Ohio, Cedar Point is opening its gates for a special event -- Total Eclipse of the Point -- to celebrate the once-in-a-lifetime moment.

“Visit the park before anyone else to experience the thrill of select rides on The Boardwalk and Kiddy Kingdom or savor specialty food and drinks at the Grand Pavilion Restaurant & Bar, all while enjoying a live DJ, kids' activities, games and more,” according to the event’s description on Cedar Point’s site.
Tickets for Total Eclipse of the Point -- which is listed as a limited-capacity event -- are now up for sale HERE. Prices start at $99. Cedar Point says season passes are not valid for entry or parking during the eclipse event, so all guests must purchase a ticket for access to Total Eclipse of the Point.
The event is scheduled to run from noon until 6 p.m. during the eclipse on Monday, April 8.
