CLEVELAND — As the Holden Arboretum grounds continue to reopen, guests have two more attractions to look forward to.

Beginning on Tuesday, the Murch Canopy Walk and Kalberer Emergent Tower will be open to the public.

"The Canopy Walk invites guests on a 500-foot-long elevated walkway that is built 65 feet above the forest floor," Holden Forests & Gardens announced in a press release. "The Emergent Tower is 120 feet or approximately 12 stories tall and provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding area all the way to Lake Erie."

Tickets will not be sold on site, but can be purchased online at holdenarb.org at a cost $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-12. While members do not need to purchase tickets, they are required to make a reservation in advance. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with the last reservation slot being 4:00 p.m.

In accordance with the State of Ohio Department of Public Health's outline, public health measures will be in place for the foreseeable future. These include groups not larger than 10 people, encouraging face coverings when visiting the grounds, and state-mandated six-foot social distancing rules.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and water, as no food or beverages will be available for purchase on site. Restrooms will be made available for guests, but all other buildings (including the Visitor Center) will remain closed.
