Summer has officially arrived here in Northeast Ohio and to mark the occasion more and more people are spending time outside.
Luckily, for Parma residents, or those willing to make the trip; a local park has a new addition.
On Thursday, the city of Parma revealed the new "warrior fitness course" at James Day Park.
"Are you ready to play? The Warrior Fitness Course is ready for you!," the City of Parma said Thursday in a Facebook post.
The new course features quintuple steps, a cargo climb, and unstable bridge and so much more. The course imitates several obstacles from NBC's show "American Ninja Warrior."
The new course addition was made possible with collaboration form the City of Parma Parks and Recreation, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Parma Amateur Athletic Federation under the "process through partnerships" initiative.
James Day Park is located at 11828 W Pleasant Valley Road.
