As much of Northeast Ohio is seeing spring-like temperatures, what better to enjoy than visiting the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens in Akron?
Throughout the month of April, the Northeast Ohio landmark, is offering "buy one, get one" free admission throughout the month of April with a canned food donation.
To take advantage of the deal, garden goers must bring a non-perishable items to admissions upon arrival. All of the donations received will be given to the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank.
The items most needed include boxed cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables, canned beef stew, and canned soup. The facility is also accepting paper products and personal care items.
The exhibit theme for the 2021 season is "Restoration: If this Hall could Talk." The exhibit "highlights the extensive restoration on the estate over the past six years," the venue said in a press release.
The Stan Hywet Hall & Garden are open for self-guided tours, Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is located at 714 N. Portage Path in Akron, Ohio, and is the former home of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company co-founder F.A. Seiberling and his family.
