CLEVELAND — If you didn't see the award-winning musical "Hamilton" the last time it was in Cleveland, you now have another chance.
On Wednesday, World Theater Day, Playhouse Square in Cleveland announced on Facebook that their final Huntington Featured Performance of the 2024-25 season will be "Hamilton."
Playhouse Square says that the Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical will be back in Cleveland from June 17 to July 6, 2025.
The 2025 performances will mark the third time "Hamilton" has come to Playhouse Square in Cleveland.
At this time, no ticket information has been released. 3News will update this story as more details become available.
“Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now,” Playhouse Square officials previously told 3News. “Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre -- a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics and education. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography.”
