Jessica Simpson says she didn't recognize herself, during a candid sit-down with Hoda Kotb that airs Wednesday on the Today show. The actress and singer explains that alcoholism snuck up on her says, “I didn’t know it was a problem until it was.” Simpson’s new memoir, Open Book, in which she discusses her struggle with drugs, alcohol, and the sexual abuse she endured as a child, will be released on February 2.
ESPN anchor Elle Duncan got emotional on Monday night speaking of her one and only interaction with recently deceased NBA superstar, Kobe Bryant. Duncan explained that when she met Bryant she was eight-months-pregnant with her daughter, and Bryant explained that being a dad to his girls was the biggest honor of his life. Bryant, who had 4 daughters - one of which whom passed away with him in the tragic helicopter accident that claimed the lives of nine individuals- told Duncan that he would have five more daughters because “girls are amazing.” The clip of Duncan went viral on social media and inspired a trending topic, “#girldad,” that has been trending since early Tuesday morning. Thousands have shared their experiences as a “girl dad” in a touching tribute to the late Basketball legend.
The Bachelor made a stop in Cleveland last night after lukewarm feelings over the announcement of their first destination. Their timid reactions quickly turned into excitement as “Pilot Pete” and his remaining contestants visited several iconic northeast Ohio locations including: East 4th, Windows on the River, and First Energy Stadium. Victoria F also got a private flight from Pilot Pete to America's rockin rollercoast... Cedar Point. Complete with her famous ex boyfriend and singer, Chase Rice, crashing the party. 13 of Peter’s girls got the honor of hitting the field at First Energy Stadium with a game of pickup football.
First Energy Stadium is in the news today again as Justin Bieber announced that he is bringing his Changes tour here in August! The show will on August 14, with featured artists Kehlani and Jaden Smith. Tickets will be available starting on Valentines Day.
