LOS ANGELES — They keep moving on up! Ohio's Sorellé are in the Top 8 of NBC's "The Voice."
Tonight, at 8 p.m. right here on WKYC, you can watch them perform live for the first time this season. Also, a first this season? Fans voting. So, they'll have to leave it all on the stage to make the Top 5 and advance to to the live finale next Monday night.
The trio of sisters, Madi, Bella, and Ana, who hail from Northeast Ohio, have stunned judges with their renditions of "Something's Got a Hold on Me," "Blame it on the Boogie" and "Someone Like You."
Based in the village of Lexington just south of Mansfield, Sorellé first went viral in 2014 with a cover of Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" and have seen their platform grow ever since. The social media influencers previously appeared on the Nickelodeon program "America's Most Musical Family" in 2019 and host a daily web show on TikTok, where they boast more than three million followers.
Tonight, some of their local followers will be at The Local 97 in Lexington, for a watch party.
In 2021, Girl Named Tom was the first trio to ever win "The Voice." If Sorellé wins this year, they'll become the second trio to win in 23 seasons.
