It is well documented that a trip to the dentist is a major fear for many people. Statistics show that between 9% and 20% of Americans avoid going to the dentist because of anxiety or fear. Most people will simply wait until the pain gets so bad that they have no choice but to go. Here in northeast Ohio, one dentist came up with a solution to curb these fears and he is the first to do it. His solution has four legs, great hair and a terrific bedside manner. Today, Alexa and Matt were joined by Dr. Chris Theodorou of Strongsville Laser & Dental Aesthetics, Laser, the practice therapy dog, and Laser’s trainer, Angela Pierce, of Paramount Dog Training to tell you all about it.

When did you come up with the idea to introduce a therapy dog to your practice? How have people reacted to Laser?
