Need something to do this Labor Day weekend? We have some different – and really fun – ideas for you and the family – and they all start at the Great Lakes Science Center! JonDarr Bradshaw is a STEM Learning Coordinator at the Great Lakes Science Center and he was here with the details.
Below are the questions Alexa & Hollie asked:
- There’s an exhibition in its final days – and kids really shouldn’t miss this! Telll us about VROOM!
- So Vroom ends on Labor Day, but there’s more to do at the Science Center over Labor Day weekend than just checking out the exhibits. The Science Center also hosts watch parties during the Air Show, what are those like?
- You guys also offer a year-long program that meets on Saturdays that starts in the fall. What kinds of kids does that appeal to and what kinds of special projects do they get the chance to work on?
- Great Science Academy starts up a few weeks after the Science Center is closed for its annual maintenance period correct? What are the days you’ll be closed so guests can get a heads up?
- What else is on tap for the fall?
Find us on social media, ‘Live on Lakeside’, and let us know if you will visit the Great Lakes Science Center.
