Today, our first guest is a shining example of strength, courage, and hope and her story made international headlines. At the time you knew her as Michelle Knight, but like a beautiful butterfly, she has transformed and now she is Lily Rose. Alexa and Hollie sat down with Lily to give us an update on her life and talk about a special event that’s coming up. Here are the questions that Alexa and Hollie asked Lily.
How do you know when it’s time to replace a piece of furniture?
Lily Rose – the anniversary of your freedom was just this past Monday – does it seem like it was forever ago or is it still fresh for you?
How do you think you’ve been able to heal over these past six years?
How important is your privacy now that you’ve finally gotten your life back?
What was it like to find love again?
Now we hear you’re also a big animal lover – tell us about your pets?
What advice do you have today for women who may not be enslaved but who are in fact trapped in abusive relationships?
Tell us about your project “Lily’s Ray of Hope”? How did it come about?
What’s this we hear about a coffee?
For the first time ever you are going to have a public event where people can come and meet you…when is it and why did you choose to do an event like this?
Were you inspired by this story? Would you like to meet her and hear more about her story? Tweet us @LIVEONLakeside or find us on Facebook at Live on Lakeside and let us know!
