CLEVELAND — When I moved to Northeast Ohio, everyone told me about the wonderful things happening in Ohio City, and specifically the Hinge Town neighborhood. With the necessities in tow and rooms ready for designing and pairings, owners Rob Ariti and Adam Pastors of Him&His Design gave me some helpful tips for my new place in Downtown Cleveland.
After being slated to be a pop-up, their grand opening in November 2021 was a raving hit among locals in the area, so much so that Ariti and Pastors extended their lease. A mix of vintage and new, Him&His offers patrons the opportunity to design for their taste, from coloring, renovation ideas, styling, in-home consultations, furniture design and ordering, new construction ideas, and so much more.
"It's a great experience, because not only are we working with larger brands from New York City and maybe Atlanta, but we are seeing local makers here that live in the neighborhood come in," Ariti told me. "It just feels so good to promote them and support them. ... We have a lot of pride in that."
Before the retail space, there was a design partnership. Rob and Adam are thrilled to be a part of Harness Cycle's Harness Collective.
