CLEVELAND — "Curioser, and curiouser!"
A new whimsical adventure has opened in the heart of downtown Cleveland. The Renaissance Cleveland hotel is now home to the The Alice, an immersive cocktail experience.
The 90-minute theatrical experience allows guests to be flooded with nostalgia as they explore a classic, specifically "Alice in Wonderland," as a new and creative way to socialize.
"It's a mixture of cocktail. It's a mixture of kind of like an escape room, riddles. There are actors, there's a little bit of everything for anyone," explained Michaela Flemming, Viral Ventures North American Project Manager.
Viral Ventures is the company behind bringing the traveling experience to Cleveland.
"I think they were just, you know, Cleveland is bustling, but there's also, you know, a need for more of the arts, I think to already compliment what's there," explained Flemming. " But they're ready for more. And we just got such great feedback."
Organizers say you should take the jump down the rabbit hole if for nothing else, the photo opportunities.
"I promise that when you put post those pictures on Instagram or TikTok, people are going to be jealous and they're going to want to know where you are. We work with amazing set designers that just transform a space," said Flemming. "And truly if it's, if it's not for the drinks or for the fun experience, it's for the amazing photos to show off to everyone," she added.
