CLEVELAND — Betsy Kling shared her favorite corned beef recipe with Jay Crawford on Friday's edition of What's New.
Ahead of St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday, corned beef is on sale at many area stores (if you can handle the crowds and standing in line), and this incredibly easy recipe can help you make a delicious holiday meal.
Toss some quartered potatoes, carrots, onion, flat cut beef brisket, spices and cabbage into the crock-pot and let is cook away for at least 8 hours.
You'll end up with an amazing one pot meal. Add some yummy bread to soak up some of the delicious broth and you're all set.
Oh! And Betsy HIGHLY recommends crock-pot liners - the cooking bags save a TON of clean up.
Here's the recipe (and the not-so-secret part)
