Check out these things you can do in Northeast Ohio this weekend: April 3-5

It's a great time to catch up on live shows, right from your home

CLEVELAND — We made it to Friday! (Yes, Friday is still a thing!)

This might sound strange, but there are a lot of things that are pretty great about the weekend right now.

You can take advantage of lots of free entertainment right from your own home, and it's still OK to get outside, as long as you keep your physical distance.

Read on for a few ideas to enjoy your downtime.

LiveNation launches "Live from Home" portal

What: Front row seats to shows have never been cheaper. That's because our favorite acts are sharing their talents, streamed live from the homes. LiveNation has them all linked in one place, so they’re easy to find.

Where: LiveNation.com/livefromhome

Get outside and share a message of hope for a stranger

What: You can still get outside and take a walk by yourself, as long as you keep a safe physical distance of at least six feet. While you do it, bring along your sidewalk chalk and leave a message behind for the next person who comes along. Check out the hashtag #chalkyourwalk for inspiration and use it to post yours, too, for the people who can’t get outside.

Where: In your neighborhood, or at public parks which currently remain open with restrictions

Take a virtual tour of the Cleveland Museum of Art

What: You can download the free Artlens app and take a virtual tour of the Cleveland Museum of Art, which includes more than 61,000 artwork records. After all, home is where the art is.

Where: Find everything you need to know here

Check out more local artists, from around the world

What: Find your people in the virtual beer tent and connect with artists from every walk of life, streaming their talents at the Social Distancing Festival.

Where: socialdistancingfestival.com

Enjoy "Some Good News" with Jim from The Office

What: Need a break from what's going on around us? We totally get. Have a laugh with “Some Good News” from John Krasinski. Yes, Jim from the Office now has his own YouTube channel, and his first guest was Michael Scott... er, Steve Carrell.
