Here's what's happening in Northeast Ohio this weekend: Feb. 28-Mar. 1

Heat things up, cool things down and unwind before your work week starts back up on Monday

CLEVELAND — Leap Day hasn't fallen on a Saturday in 28 years, giving us all the more reason to get out and enjoy this extra day to the fullest.

To help you do that, here's a list of things happening in Northeast Ohio that are sure to bring a smile to your face.

Enjoy music, food, friends and get your blood pumping, or maybe take a peak at how the stars are lining up in your life at one of the several events highlighted here.

Country music stars Justin Moore and Tracy Lawrence perform

What: See Justin Moore's and Tracy Lawrence's Late Nights and Long Necks tour in the Land on Saturday night. Grab tickets before they're gone or "Somebody Else Will."

Where: The Wolstein Center at 2000 Prospect Ave East in Cleveland

When: Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Polar Bear Jump in Portage Lakes

What: If you’re feeling charitable, chill out at the Polar Bear Jump in Portage Lakes on Saturday. Dive head first into icy water to raise money for children with special needs. You can register on site at noon and take the leap at 2 p.m., when it’ll be about 29 degrees outside!

Yoga & Brunch with Browns Fit and Bold

What: Warm up and wind down before the work week begins with yoga and brunch, co-hosted by Browns Fit and Bold in the Flats East Bank. Tickets are $25 and afterwards you get mimosas, coffee, and avocado toast. Also included in your ticket is a lunch coupon to use at Bold Food and Drink! 

Where: Browns Fit at 1111 West 10th Street in Cleveland

When: Sunday from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Mac N Cheese Throwdown

What: This weekend, 26 chefs will battle to prove who has the best mac in Cleveland, with our own Monica Robins as one of the judges. Tickets can only be purchased online. All proceeds benefit W.A.G.S. 4 Kids, an organization which provides service dogs for children in need.

Where: Cleveland Public Auditorium at 500 Lakeside Avenue East

When: Saturday from 12-3:30 p.m.

Psychic Fair & Mini-Expo

What: See what the stars say is in your future with Theresa Manjas at Melinda's 5th Annual Psychic Fair & Mini Expo featuring Northeast Ohio's most respected and beloved psychics, energy healers, metaphysical stores and vendors. Readings are $25  each and the first 10 people who buy a reading receive a free gift. Entry and parking is free of charge.

Where: Yorktown Lanes at 6218 Pearl Road in Parma Heights

When: Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Looking Up and Looking Out: A Leap Day Retreat for Women

What: Leap day is an extra day, and there’s no better time to spend that gift on yourself. At “Looking Up And Looking Out - Facilitated by Betsy Nero” you can enjoy rest, creative expression, group sharing, and amazing soup! Entry costs $55 and includes snacks, lunch, and supplies. Space is limited to 10. Those wishing to register should call (216) 228-7451 or email centeringspace@srsofcharity.org.

When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
