CLEVELAND — Can you believe it? Thanksgiving is now less than a week away. We know Turkey Day comes with a lot of traditions, so this week we have turned to experts for inspiration on ways to make those traditional side dishes inspirational.
To wrap up our week of "Sensational Sides" on "What's New," our meteorologist Payton Domschke cooked up some stuffing in a recipe that was submitted by viewer Ginger Rausch Cusano.
You can watch more in the player above. Meanwhile, here is the family-favorite stuffing recipe that Gina gave us:

- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup (or a little more) chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup (or a little more) dried cranberries
- 1 16-oz roll breakfast sausage
- 1/2 - 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
Brown sausage in a light spray of olive oil. Melt butter and add celery & onion, cooking until translucent. Remove from heat and add sage, thyme & pepper. Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Add celery/onion mixture, pecans and cranberries. Next add the sausage-- undrained. Mix well. Add chicken broth until mixture is very moist. Place in lightly greased casserole dish and cover with foil. Chill until ready to bake. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Leaving foil on, bake 45 minutes until stuffing is browned and heated through.
