CLEVELAND — One of the most exciting things about watching the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday night was checking out all the fashion -- good and bad -- on the red carpet.
Northeast Ohio fashion expert and 3News contributor Hallie Abrams -- aka The Wardrobe Consultant -- stopped by the studio Monday morning to break down what worked and what didn't on the red carpet.
Fashion Trends
- Cut-out gowns
- White gowns
- Pant suits for women
Best Dressed
- Dua Lipa -- Abrams said of the singer, "Everything was on point." She wore a metallic, cut-out, gown with a snake necklace.
- Victoria Monét -- The Best New Artist winner wore a stunning copper, corseted, Versace gown with a snake necklace. Abrams said, "It's gorgeous."
- Peso Pluma -- The singer wore a Louis Vuitton suit with fancy embroidering. One fun fact? His stylist, Anastasia Walker, is a graduate of Kent State University and used to be Abrams' assistant!
Worst Dressed
- Ed Sheeran – Ouch! "He looks like he's going hunting," Abrams said of the acclaimed singer. "He's done better before." His camouflaged suit didn't hit with our fashion guru.
- Doja Cat – "She had some major wardrobe malfunctions," said Abrams of the chart-topping singer and rapper. "That's why she gets my worst-dressed award."
