Uniontown police officer to be featured on 'Body Cam' TV show

The show's premiere Nov. 27 puts a spotlight on Northeast Ohio.

UNIONTOWN, Ohio -- The spotlight will turn to Uniontown next Tuesday when a police officer is featured on Investigation Discovery's "Body Cam."

The show provides an up-close view on the frontlines of America's police officers and their daily tasks. Footage comes directly from the officers' body cameras and some situations aired are disturbing and dangerous.

The show's premiere Nov. 27 features a storyline in Northeast Ohio.

Uniontown police Sgt. David White was shot four times at point blank range and left to fight for his life while answering a domestic dispute call in July 2017. Eight surgeries later, he was recently cleared by a doctor.
