NEW YORK -- Donald Trump’s hair is back in the spotlight.
During the Republican nominee’s appearance on the Tonight Show late Thursday, host Jimmy Fallon asked Trump for permission to mess up his hair.
Trump winced at the idea as the crowd erupted in cheers.
“I’ll be gentle,” Fallon said through giggles.
As the crowd continued cheering, Trump agreed to Fallon’s request.
“The answer’s yes, but the people in New Hampshire where I’m gonna be in about an hour from now, I hope they’re going to understand,” Trump said.
Trump then leaned over as Fallon rapidly rubbed his right hand through Trump’s hair leaving behind a lopsided clump.
Video from the moment quickly became a hit on social media.
