Thursday night was something special in our WKYC studios as two of our most beloved anchors returned to the desk for Channel 3 News at 11.
Tim White reunited with longtime partner Romona Robinson as they sat alongside Russ Mitchell and Sara Shookman. It's part of our 70th anniversary celebration in which we're bringing back familiar faces all month long.
Tim and Romona were together from 1999-2008 and looked back on the most memorable story during their years as a team.
The pair also spent some time giving us an update as to what they are doing now. Romona has written a book, A Dirt Road to Somewhere: An Emmy Award-Winning Anchor 's Incredible Journey of Faith Over Fear. Click here to learn more and to order a copy in time for the holidays!
Tim is splitting his time between homes in Washington D.C. and Cody, Wyoming. He is on the faculty of the Department of Communications at the University of Maryland and also serves on the board of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Wyoming. Tim is also very proud of his daughter, Elizabeth, who is a rising young executive in the aerospace industry.
Earlier on #ThrowbackThursday, Mark Nolan and Carole Chandler Sullivan got back together during Channel 3 News Today.
We've also seen the return of Robin Swoboda, as she re-teamed with Jim Donovan.
Earlier this month, Connie Dieken and Leon Bibb were the first faces to be reunited at the anchor desk.
