CLEVELAND — It's that time of year! The ice skating rink at Wade Oval opened for the winter season on Friday, Dec. 2 and runs through Feb. 26.
The popular winter entertainment spot offers an affordable and fun experience for all ages. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students. Skate rentals are $3 for adults and $2 for students.
“The Rink at Wade Oval is so much more than a beautiful place to visit,” said Becky Voldrich, UCI’s senior director of Communications & Events. “It’s a place for the community to gather and create special memories with their families and friends. We’ve had so many amazing moments take place at The Rink over the years – everything from kids trying on their first pair of skates to a marriage proposal. It doesn’t get much better than that!”
Free skating lessons will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. every Saturday.
The popular "Pink the Rink" event will return on Valentine's Day weekend offering much to look forward to during this year's operation.
PNC Bank will be the official sponsor of The Rink at Wade Oval in the 2022-2023 season.
