CLEVELAND —
During Tuesday’s Pop Break on What's New, Digital Anchor Stephanie Haney covers Ozzy Osbourne’s statement regarding his health, the heartbreaking reason that Taylor Swift’s new album will only have two tour stops in the U.S., the Meghan and Harry update that is helping the young royals to move on, and Tim Tebow’s fairytale wedding.
Tim Tebow is officially off the market. The former NFL and MLB player married Demi-leigh Nel-Peters in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday. The pair met in 2017 after Nel-Peters won the Miss Universe title during her run as Miss South Africa. Tebow, who was famously saving himself for marriage, told People Magazine "I've been waiting my entire life for someone special who I can spend the rest of my life with. I can't wait to see what our future holds. All of my dreams have come true. It was 100 percent worth the wait."
Prince Harry has finally been reunited with wife Meghan and son Archie in Canada after extending his trip to London during talks with the queen. Although the young royals plan to split their time between The U.K. and Canada, the move follows Harry and Meghan's decision to step back as senior royals and to live monetarily independent from the royal family. They are now also threatening legal action against the paparazzi over privacy concerns while trying to raise their son.
Taylor Swift is staying strong among a tough diagnosis for her mother. In an interview with Variety, Swift revealed that while her mother was undergoing treatment for breast cancer, she was also diagnosed with a brain tumor. Swift revealed that the diagnosis is also the reason she is only doing two tour stops in the United States for her new album, Lover. Swift said in the interview that, "It's taught me that there are real problems and then there's everything else... I used to be so anxious about daily ups and downs. I give all my worry, stress, and prayers to real problems now."
Ozzy Osbourne has just revealed that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease after nearly a year of keeping the illness private. Parkinsons is a neurodegenerative disease that progresses slowly. Although Osbourne says he is in pain, he also says he is feeling hopeful, “I ain’t done yet. I ain’t going anywhere yet.”
