It's been more than a year, but this summer, live music is finally returning to Northeast Ohio.

On Tuesday, Elevation Festivals announced 'Wonderstruck' is set to be held at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, in Lake County, on July 24-25, 2021. The two-day music festival will feature Walk the Moon, Third Eye Blind, Portugal. The Man, AJR and more.

The festival will be held outdoors at the community college, and the event organizer promises "open-air and wide open spaces" for concert-goers to congregate safely with their friends while enjoying multiple live bands and food.

"The United Kingdom plans to fully reopen Great Britain on June 21. Within 72 hours of Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement, mega music festivals in Reading and Leeds sold over 100,000 tickets," stated Elevation president Denny Young in a press release dated March 3. "On Monday, our neighbors in Indianapolis opened 'indoor' music venues to a capacity of 50%. And yesterday, when reporting the 2021 Rock Hall Induction ceremony information, Cleveland.com's headline read: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony switches venues, could draw its largest audience ever. Each day, we become more confident and believe that running music festivals this summer is possible. If the positive trends continue, reopening is certain. We plan to be ready to safely present both WonderStruck and WonderBus."

Event organizers said they would be in constant communication with the Ohio Department of Health, and Gov. Mike DeWine's office to coordinate plans and actions in compliance with the state's health mandates and COVID-19 protocols.

"The safety of our attendees, artists, vendors and staff is our top priority," said Young.

Tickets for 'Wonderstruck' go on sale on Friday April 9, 2021 at 10 a.m. EST.
