CLEVELAND — Arabella Proffer is a local artist with an appreciation of a unique bathroom.
Years ago, she started taking mirror selfies in different restrooms throughout Northeast Ohio and documenting them on her Instagram page with the hashtag, #restroomsofcleveland.
"I only did it in places that I thought were very janky and very 60's looking. Cleveland has a lot of bathrooms like that," laughed Proffer.
Her pictures became so popular that her friends encouraged her to put her findings in a book.
"People have a really strong opinion about restrooms," said Proffer.
In the book, it features current and past restrooms including the Beachland Ballroom, Mahall's in Lakewood, 78th Street Studios and more.
