SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Getting into Cedar Point will cost you a bit more money this year.
Ticket prices at the gate have increased to $72 for the 2018 season, which is a $5 increase compared to last year.
Park spokesperson Tony Clark says guests can get discounts on tickets by buying them in advance online.
“The best price for tickets is – and this is a money-saving option – is always CedarPoint.com,” Clark explains. “The gate price is going to be $72, but guests are gonna save money all the time at CedarPoint.com. We have specials going, and they’re always going to be less expensive than the gate.”
Cedar Point is currently offering a pre-season ticket sale online for $45. There’s also a two-day ticket available for $70.
Clark says parking is also cheaper when purchased in advance on CedarPoint.com.
Cedar Point will open for its 149th season on Saturday, May 5 -- which is also the day the record-breaking Steel Vengeance roller coaster makes its debut.
