SANDUSKY, Ohio -- It’s true. Cedar Point is changing the name of its Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster.
But don’t freak out… The name change is only temporary.
During 2017’s opening weekend, Top Thrill Dragster will be known as “Top Thrill Cubster.”
The switcheroo comes thanks to a bet between Cedar Point and Six Flags Great America in Chicago regarding the outcome of the World Series.
The two parks wagered to rename an attraction depending on which team won.
Since the Cubs beat the Indians after seven games, Cedar Point is paying up.
Top Thrill Dragster is one of Cedar Point’s most iconic attractions that takes riders 420 feet into the sky at speeds up to 120 mph.
