CLEVELAND — Oh Baby!
The return of Cleveland baseball is here and so are some new additions to Northeast Ohioan families.
On Friday, the Cleveland Guardians and the Cleveland Clinic joined forces to gift babies born on opening day, custom onesies.
The new additions posed for pictures in the all white ones with the new red, blue and white Guardians logo on the front with the words," Opening Day Baby 2022," written across the chest.
The first 2022 Opening Day baby delivered was baby Price-Smith to parents Shayla Evans and Darius Price-Smith. He was delivered at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. As the first 2022 Opening Day baby, baby Price-Smith and his family will be gifted a suite to a future Cleveland Guardians game in 2022.
