CLEVELAND — Singer/songwriter Quinn L’Esperance was inspired by a Boyce Avenue mashup, which prompted her to have an idea.
Quinn sat down with her mom, Carrie, at the piano and sang a mashup of songs with a beautiful message about the love, next steps in life, and relationship between a mother and a daughter.
“It was really special singing this song and shooting this video with my mom. We actually cut vocals for it on her birthday. Nobody knew that we had done this except a few people” Quinn said. “When we showed the video for the first time at the party, it was a happy surprise for everyone, especially my dad.”
Carrie and Quinn had first heard the mashup on a trip to Nashville while Quinn was recording her upcoming album, and they immediately fell in love with the performance. Carrie eventually had the idea to film the video and show it at a ‘going away party’ for Quinn as she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her singing and acting career.
A beautiful tribute to a lifelong relationship.
