BAY VILLAGE, Ohio — Did someone say "Snow Day"?
That was the case for many students and teachers throughout Northeast Ohio after yesterday's snowstorm dumped several inches of snow across the region, and the kids were loving it.
There's many popular sledding hills in Cuyahoga County, but there's a hidden gem right in Bay Village at Huntington Park for locals to squeeze in some fun. Tom Kuluris met his kids on his lunch break to soak in what are sure to become great memories.
"They're having a ball," Kuluris said. "They have friends over, they're all doing it together. They're all having a great time."
Many of the kids were saying they like to go fast, gleefully adding, "It's really fun!" Kuluris agrees.
"My fear is I'm not going to be able to get back up," he opined. "I have dress shoes on."
The kids were overjoyed to have a snow day, and even convinced the 3News crew to go down the hill with them. So, that's what happened.
"Just go!" they shouted. They all linked sleds together, and down the hill everyone went. There were lots of happy faces and everyone was in good spirits.
"How do you resist when your kids want you to go?" Kuluris added.
