Pushing past your comfort zone to chase your dreams is rarely easy, especially when nothing seems to be going how you expected.
Whether it’s career, relationships or other goals, finding the courage to go after what you want can be challenging.
Actress, comedian, host and East Cleveland native, Yvette Nicole Brown shares her journey to success and her newest title, script writer.
“I was writing a movie that I didn’t see, that I wanted to see and then maybe ten years later my friend Nikaya Brown, ND Brown, who’s also from Cleveland, she has a studio called Tri Destined Studios, that she’d been building for 20 years and we went to brunch like this and she asked did I write, and I was like, well I got this one script."

Brown sat down with 3 News’ Danielle Wiggins, Jasmine Monroe and Tiffany Tarpley for brunch at Michael’s Genuine in Shaker Heights to discuss her movie ‘Always A Bridesmaid,’ as well as the signs that led her to shift her focus from the career she’s always wanted to the path she’s on today.
She has a real passion to not only help herself, but to keep the door open for others. This episode of "Reality Break" helps women find the courage to overcome their fears and follow their dreams no matter the setbacks.
“How about we learn to celebrate the current blessing? We live in a place of expectancy for the blessing to come."
