Internet sensation Tabitha Brown launches YouTube original kids show, 'Tab Time'

The 10-episode series will air weekly on her YouTube channel.

CLEVELAND — Whether you were introduced to her through her acting career or found her while scrolling on your favorite social media platform, there's no denying the star power of Tabitha Brown.

The 42-year-old has taken on several new ventures in the past few years, but her most recent is the launching of her YouTube Original kids show, "Tab Time."

“‘Tab Time’ is part of my purpose. Over the last few years, I feel I have been called to heal the world and healing the world starts with children. If we can create better children, then we can create better adults,” said Brown in a press release promoting the show.

The 10-episode series premiered on Wednesday, December 1 at 9 a.m. on Browns' YouTube channel. Each week she's joined by a celebrity guest as they break down the episode's topic.

Through crafts, recipes and her core crew of characters featuring Avi the Avocado, Lenny the Lightning Bug, Starla the Spatula, Burnie the Oven Mitt and DJ Khrafty, the show explores themes of family, helping others, music, how things grow, mistakes and more.

"We’re at a place right now where the world needs healing, it needs light and children are that light. It’s been said a million times, but children are the future and healing change begins with them," said Brown.

But the lessons aren't just for the kiddos. Browns says she hopes parents also benefit from the show.

"We all have a child that still lives inside of it. And so parents will watch as well. And I hope that they receive every message that their child receives," Brown explained. "And I know that they'll take away that, 'you know what I'm doing all right, as a parent,' right."

To get to this point, Brown says she's done her own healing and that's why she's able, ready and equipped to embark on this new journey.

"When you're free, freedom allows you to breathe. It allows you to -- to move without fear. Freedom allows you to think and dream," said Brown.

"Tab Time" is suitable for all children but geared to kids ages 3 to 5 years old. Episodes are released every Wednesday at 9 a.m. on the Tabitha Brown YouTube page and the YouTube Kids App.
