AVON LAKE, Ohio — Avon Lake City Schools announced that the eagle watchers from the Avon Lake Bald Eagles Nest have spotted the first egg of the season.
Avon Lake City School officials said in a Facebook post that the egg was laid at 4:09 on Friday, Feb. 24.
The nest is located outside of Redwood Elementary School in Avon Lake.
Experts say eagle eggs take approximately 35 days to hatch.
