Looking for a new pet? Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter reduces adoption fees through November

Adoption fees have been lowered to $20 for the entire month.

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter has an unusually high number of dogs currently in their care for this time of year.

That's why the shelter is encouraging people to adopt a dog by reducing the normal adoption fee of $95 to $20 through the end of November.

The shelter is only charging for the cost of a dog license. Every dog that is adopted gets spayed or neutered, vaccinations, a 2023 dog license, microchip and current rabies tag.

The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is open to the public Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Pets that are available for adoption can be viewed at https://www.cuyahogadogs.com.

The shelter is located at 9500 Sweet Valley Drive in Valley View.
