CLEVELAND — Many outdoor pools are open for the season and ready for swimmers!
With warm weather upon us and the unofficial start to summer underway, 3News has compiled a list of some of the best spots to swim across Northeast Ohio.
Check out some of the pools, waterparks, beaches and quarries you must visit this summer when looking for a place to cool off.
Baylor Beach Park

Baylor Beach Park has a two-acre swimming lake with slides and fountains, as well as a separate one-acre lake for paddle boating, aqua bikes and funyak rides.
Beachwood Family Aquatic Center

The Beachwood Family Aquatic Center welcomes Beachwood residents, employees and their guests to a 99,000-square-foot center with water slides, diving boards, lap pools as well as splash pads for the kiddos. Throughout the summer, the aquatic center will offer swim lessons, splash parties and a disco night.

Foster Pool

The newly renovated Foster Pool is set to open for the season on June 8. The pool will feature a speed slide, looping slide, lily pads, water features, a family slide, diving board, and a 50-meter by 25-yard l-shaped lap pool.
Headlands Beach State Park

Headlands Beach, which is the largest natural sand beach in Ohio, offers swimming in designated areas during the summer.
Lorain County Metroparks Splash Zone

The 6,000-square-foot pool has two waterslides, tumble buckets, four lap lanes and a splash pad for kids. The outdoor area also features the tot pool, a concession stand and playground.
Maca Pool

The Maca Pool features a water park that has a six-lane lap pool, multiple slides, a large barrel splash zone as well as a full-service concession stand area.
Nelson Ledges Quarry Park

The quarry is spring-fed clean water and is rarely treated. The park offers swimming, cliff diving, snorkeling, scuba diving and sunbathing. No swimming is allowed when lifeguards aren't on duty.
Pioneer Waterland & Dry Fun Park

This waterpark located in Chardon features four six-story high waterslides, a lazy innertube ride and spring-fed swimming in a concrete pond with water volleyball, basketball and slides. There is also paddle boating available on a six-acre natural lake. Kidsland is dedicated to the kiddos with slides, ride-on toys, a crawl-through tunnel and much more!

The Twinsburg Water Park is located behind Chamberlin Middle School and features a huge water slide as well as a large lap pool.
