CLEVELAND — 3News contributor Emily Mayfield has tried just about every workout trend out there, and there's one really cool workout trend gaining steam here in Northeast Ohio that she had to check out.
It's called "Krazy Fit" and it certainly looks different from your typical fitness class.
"Krazy Fit is this concept of making everything related to fitness fun," said Founder Nikkie Brown. "So we want you to forget about the workout part and just have fun."
At Krazy Fit, Nikkie offers everything from 20-minute bungee classes to 40-minute jump fit classes using their signature kangaroo spring-loaded boots.
"They were designed by an orthopedic surgeon to absorb the impact of your joints so you don't feel that same pain that you would feel running in tennis shoes...and they do weigh between about three to five pounds which definitely gives you... your cardio," Nikkie said. "You can burn about 20 calories a minute while you're jumping in them."

During the pandemic, Krazy Fit is still offering group classes at half capacity inside their studio, but they're also willing to work with clients outside, weather permitting of course.
So Emily and Nikkie headed to the Krazy Fit parking lot to give the kangaroo boots a go, and even in masks, their smiles proved, this is one workout that really is fun.
