CLEVELAND — It is very common for parents to feel overwhelmed by balancing their kids' schedules, stuff around the house and the general chaos that comes along with parenting. Once in a while, though, you might find that rare mom or dad that seems to have it all together.
That's Kristen Gambuccini. She is a mother of eight kids who range in age from four to 22 years old, and became well-known for her DIY crafts. And she knows how to utilize space.
"My house is a very average-sized house. We have a family of ten here and we don't have, I mean, it's a four-bedroom home so it's not like we have all of this space to just really do amazing, incredible things with," Gambuccini told us. "So I've had to really think outside the box and even like I said, changing the dining room to the living room and then the living room to the dining room."
Now, Gambuccini says she's juggling it all, along with authoring a romance novel series, something she's dreamt of doing for a long time.
"I'm one of those people where if I get an idea, I'm like 'okay, let's do it' -- because if I sit and I stew on it and I think about it and I overthink it because I'm an overthinker -- especially when it comes to like my family and my kids."
Gambuccini says she has a plan that keeps all of her kids' belongings organized on a budget. She also keeps a cleaning schedule to keep herself sane.
