CLEVELAND — We are days away from Black Friday and parents everywhere are going to be on the hunt for the hottest toys of the holiday season. If you need some budget-friendly ideas or you need to know where to find items on the wish list, 3News' Maureen Kyle talked to Ali Mierzejewski, editor in chief of The Toy Insider.
Mierzejewski showed off some of the most in-demand toys and explained why certain toys end up more in demand than others.
“Things that feature kids favorite characters, which I showed you a bunch here today, are always super popular ...that's what kids absolutely love,” said Mierzejewski.
There’s also a trend for games and toys that bring people together.

“I think that family games and puzzles and activities that you can do over and over again or with multiple kids or the whole family are still trending," said Mierzejewski.
Some of the top toys include things like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pizza fire van, a Pudgy Penguin interactive toy and some games like Pigs on a Trampoline. She also shows us where to get them at the cheapest price.
