CLEVELAND — Culver’s is bringing its “From Wisconsin With Love” food truck tour to downtown Cleveland on Wednesday afternoon – and they’re serving up free cheese curds and frozen custard.
The food event will take place at Progressive Field from 5:30-8 p.m. before the Cleveland Guardians take on the Chicago White Sox.
Culver’s will also be displaying an 80-plus pound cheese sculpture that’s carved into the shape of iconic Cleveland landmarks like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Each guest will be given the opportunity to vote which of two local charities will receive a donation from Culver’s: Providence House or the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
“Guests will be able to cast their vote by placing a token in a life-sized glass cow, with Culver’s making a $5,000 donation to the leading vote recipient,” Culver’s officials said in a statement.
Cleveland is the 10th stop on the Culver’s tour, which is visiting 17 total destinations across 14 states.
Culver’s, which has opened a handful of restaurants throughout Northeast Ohio in recent years, is best known for their ButterBurgers, cheese curds and frozen custard. The chain opened its new Eastlake restaurant last month.
