"I think we took advantage of an opportunity and then began to realize how pinnacle this place was to the neighborhood. I mean ice cream and hot dogs and all of the memories that come along with a warm summer day," Brittany Bissell told Doug and Mike.

Bissell and partner Chris Hoke are now serving ice creams, brownie sundaes, banana splits, milk shakes and floats -- as well as a small selection of hot foods including hot dogs and traditional Polish boys, with kielbasa, fries, coleslaw and barbecue sauce, out of the iconic Fleet Avenue storefront.

"We're really lucky because here we are sitting at the table eating Polish Boys and ice cream. And you know what could be better than that on a hot summer day?" Hoke asked.
