AVON, Ohio — The "fast-casual" restaurant Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is set to open a new location on Thursday, May 11 adding another classic comfort food location to the list of options in Avon!
Freddy's new location is located at 35815 Chester Road in front of the Cabela's restaurant. Avon mayor Bryan Jensen along with other Avon officials will be on hand for the grand opening at 9:30 a.m.
"Freddy’s is committed to providing high-quality menu items cooked fresh to order with genuine hospitality in a clean and relaxing environment,” said Dominic Gatta, franchise owner. “We’re thrilled to enter this dynamic neighborhood that is flourishing with restaurants and businesses. Our location makes us an easily accessible dining option for guests traveling along the highway, as well as guests looking for a place to eat after shopping at our retail neighbors.”
The restaurant comes in at 2,700 square feet and will seat up to 60 guests with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru services will also be available for those on the go.
The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, Freddy's will be open for an additional hour, closing at 11 p.m.
The Avon location will be the first of many new Freddy's locations popping up throughout Northeast Ohio, with locations in North Olmsted and Lorain currently under construction and set to open later in 2023.
