CLEVELAND — A popular Northeast Ohio grocery chain has announced that it will no longer be available via Instacart starting next week.
On Wednesday morning, Heinen's took to Facebook to share that the last day to place an order directly with Instacart is Tuesday, Feb. 21.
"We strive to deliver exceptional customer service and want to be sure our loyal customers are the first to know about the exciting changes happening soon to our online grocery delivery and curbside pickup service," said Heinen's officials in a Facebook statement.
What are the new changes?
- Heinen's is introducing a new mobile app and upgraded shopping platform on shop.heinens.com. The orders placed online and in the app will be fulfilled by trained Heinen's associates, who will "pick and pack only the best quality groceries for you."

Heinen's also noted that all questions or problems with orders will be handled directly by the customer's local store team or the customer relations team.
